Where spring tides surge, we forge ahead with resolve. From January 30 to 31, 2026, NAR held a substantive learning event. Yang Li, Assistant General Manager of the New Materials Business Unit of Wanhua Chemical, led a team of quality and supply chain management experts to NAR, who shared cutting-edge practical experience in quality management and supply chain operation via thematic presentations and interactive discussions. This in-depth empowerment across distances is not only a continuation of the long-term business cooperation between the two sides, but also a key move for NAR to advance strategic cooperation in deepening management upgrading and pursuing operational excellence.

 

Looking back on our cooperation journey, since NAR joined hands with Wanhua Chemical’s New Materials Business Unit, our mutual learning and growth have never ceased. The corporate headquarters alone has organized three study tours to Wanhua for its core team. From the intelligent production lines at the Yantai Industrial Park to the systematic training at Wanhua University, from the innovative concepts at the R&D Center to the lean operational management processes and cultural co-construction, every aspect has deeply inspired the NAR team. In late 2025, Chairman You Aiguo personally led more than ten core management members to Wanhua for an immersive study of its innovative spirit and management model. He brought back to NAR the management philosophy of "Consolidate Foundations, Plan Systematically, Persist Long-term", sowing valuable seeds for the company’s subsequent business development.

The on-site empowerment by Wanhua’s management team has further elevated our cooperation to a new depth. During the two-day exchange, 42 NAR representatives from Shanghai, Nantong, Jiangxi, Thailand and other regions took full part in a hybrid online and offline format, conducting in-depth learning and discussions around the two core themes of quality and supply chain management. Ms. Liang Xiaomin, a Lean Quality System expert, systematically elaborated on Wanhua’s Total Quality Management (TQM) System, covering practical approaches such as quality culture development, customer demand insight, risk control in design and development, change management processes, the proactive "prevention first" philosophy for upfront quality work, quality assessment mechanisms and the "reverse evaluation" system. This gave on-site participants a much deeper understanding of full-lifecycle quality assurance. For his part, Mr. Dong Tengteng, a supply chain operations expert, shared Wanhua’s supply chain structure of "central headquarters leadership and local management", the collaborative application of digital systems, as well as practical cases including the cultivation of strategic suppliers and cost reduction via multimodal transport. His sharing has provided a clear blueprint and hands-on guidance for the refined operation of NAR’s supply chain.

 

The group discussion sessions at the event were brimming with energy. Based on NAR’s actual business pain points and specific challenges, each team exchanged insightful ideas around digital project management, performance optimization, quality control and other key topics. Wanhua’s experts provided targeted guidance and suggestions for each issue, emphasizing the importance of "process standardization, cross-departmental collaboration and performance assessment alignment". They advised prioritizing the clarification of management objectives and process norms, and warned against overpursuing data accuracy at the cost of neglecting problem-oriented continuous improvement. This "theory + practice" empowerment model allowed the NAR team to not only master advanced methodologies, but also identify clear actionable paths for their implementation.

 

From NAR's on-site study tours at Wanhua to the experts' customized on-site empowerment, the cooperation between NAR and Wanhua Chemical has long surpassed a mere supplier-buyer relationship and evolved into strategic synergy and joint advancement. The outcomes of this learning initiative have been formally incorporated into the three-year strategic plan of NAR's functional departments. The two parties have also deepened their cooperation in innovative R&D, jointly unlocking the vast potential of cutting-edge eco-friendly products and translating the essence of Wanhua’s management practices into tangible operational results for NAR.

With a strong tailwind for the long journey ahead and great missions to accomplish, we set sail anew with resolve. Going forward, the two parties will further deepen cooperation and keep driving progress in technological innovation, management upgrading and talent development, to boost the high-quality growth of core businesses including automotive paint protection films and eco-friendly alternatives for digital printing materials, and co-create a new chapter of win-win synergy across the industrial chain!
