Recently, a delegation of executives and IT center members from NAR visited Huawei's Lianqiu Lake R&D Base in Shanghai. They conducted an in-depth exploration of this premier R&D hub, which integrates Huawei's top-tier research environment with its innovation ecosystem, embarking on a journey of exchange focused on technological innovation and cutting-edge research.

Huawei Lianqiu Lake R&D Base
As a globally strategic R&D base for Huawei, the Lianqiu Lake R&D Base is not only the core carrier of Huawei's technology strategy but also an important symbol of Chinese tech companies facing the world and leading the future. The integration of advanced laboratories, collaborative workspaces, and green, sustainable design concepts within the campus reflects Huawei's high emphasis on the R&D environment and innovation efficiency. It is not only a cradle for technological breakthroughs but also the core power source for Huawei to fulfill its vision of "bringing digital to every person, home and organization for a fully connected, intelligent world." During the visit, the NAR team deeply felt the significant driving role of technological innovation in corporate development.

Learning from and exchanging insights on digital transformation
During the exchange session, Sun Wei, General Manager of Huawei Cloud WeLink Office Digitalization Solutions, delivered a thematic presentation titled "Huawei's Digital Transformation" for the NAR delegation. He systematically elucidated the fundamental distinctions between informatization, internet-based transformation, and digitalization, emphasizing that digital transformation is not merely a technological upgrade but a comprehensive reshaping of management systems, business processes, and corporate culture. Using Huawei's own practices as examples, Sun Wei detailed the pivotal role of data governance, process reengineering, and management system upgrades in the transformation. Subsequently, two of Huawei's ecosystem partners provided targeted recommendations for NAR regarding digital infrastructure construction and AI application, offering highly valuable references for Nar's subsequent advancement of its digital strategy.

Return with a full toolkit
The success of this exchange would not have been possible without the meticulous arrangements and warm hospitality of the Huawei Cloud Shanghai reception team. Their professional organization and attentive service enabled a highly efficient and rewarding dialogue, allowing the NAR delegation to gain in-depth understanding of Huawei's practical experience in R&D management, technological innovation, and global collaboration. The ambition and strength demonstrated by Huawei provided valuable references for Nar in its own technological R&D and industrial upgrading.

Over the past seven to eight years since initiating its digital transformation, NAR has achieved remarkable results in smart manufacturing and supply chain optimization. This visit further clarified the pathways and methodologies for digital transformation, offering crucial insights particularly in unified platform development, data governance framework enhancement, security strategy reinforcement, refined resource management, and optimization of global business operations. Moving forward, NAR will continue to deepen collaborations with industry leaders like Huawei, accelerate the building of its digital capabilities, and drive higher-quality and more sustainable corporate development.
